Please Donate
We have concluded our 2023 Fundraiser for the Foss Mountain trail repair - thank you to all our generous donors! Donations going forward help us maintain the trail as well as summit views, natural habitat, blueberry fields and wildlife that depends on open fields to survive. We cannot do it without you!
All donations are tax deductable under section 170(c) of the IRS code. Your gift will help us to maintain the fields and ridge on Foss Mountain, preserve the views and allow wild blueberries to continue to grow, and maintain the Foss Mountain trai, kiosks and parking lot. Please let us know if you would like to remain anonymous.

Thank you for your support!
Foss Mountain is a singular destination enjoyed by generations of visitors from all over the world. A hike to the summit of its open ledges reveals a 360 degree view – north to the White Mountain National Forest, east into Maine, west to Mount Chocorua and the Sandwich Range and south towards the Ossipee Range and beyond.
The land on which Foss Mountain sits is owned by the Town of Eaton and managed by the Eaton Conservation Commission. The legacy of Foss is stewardship – as we encourage visitors to Preserve, Protect and Enjoy this local treasure.
In recent years Foss Mountain has seen a significant increase in use, while our primary revenue sources of commercial blueberry sales and timber harvesting on town land have generated fewer funds. Keeping the summit clear of trees, maintaining blueberry health and educating visitors as to "best practice" standards are becoming more of a challenge. We need your help.
Our goal is to encourage all who hold Foss Mountain dear to donate with the singular goal of supporting this treasure.
Some examples of how donations are used include:
Cutting saplings to maintain the view
Maintaining low bush wild blueberries
Educating visitors
Maintaining the trail and parking lot
Maintaining grassland habitat, its birds and pollinators
Thank you for your ongoing support – together we will keep Foss Mountain a place for everyone to enjoy!
